Do you know what I love about yellow? It feels good. Like the sun, it is bright and inviting, and in an environment like ours in Canada, it is welcome at any time of year.
It is the most common colour found in flowers and is a fond memory for me of the chubby little Warbler birds I loved listening to as a child.
Yellow is the colour most associated with optimism and pleasure; it is a colour designed to attract attention, and for amusement. At over 17,000 years old, it has been around longer than any other colour (Lascaux Caves).
It also reminds me of bold design!
But what I am most excited about is the newest colour of
Chalk Paint™ decorative paint by Annie Sloan to arrive in Canada.
English Yellow! So cheery and sunshiny that it will make you forget all about the buckets of rain we've been getting.
